Using the AV Source (Pioneer AV Equipments)

When Pioneer audio equipment is connected to
the navigation system using IP-BUS or AV-BUS,
such equipment can be operated from the
navigation unit. This chapter describes the
operation of the audio source that can be used
when the Pioneer audio equipment is connected.
When reading this chapter, please also refer to
the operation manual of the AV equipment
connected to the navigation system.

Multi-CD Player

Listening a CD

You can use navigation unit to control a multi-CD
player, which is sold separately.
These are the basic steps necessary to play a CD
with your multi-CD player.
More advanced M-CD operation
Pressing the DISP button changes the
screen display.
Switching screen display
(1) Source icon
Shows which source has been selected.
(2) Disc number indicator
Shows the disc currently playing.
(3) Track number indicator
Shows the track currently playing.
(4) Play time indicator
Shows the elapsed playing time of the current
track.
(5) Disc list display
Shows the disc title list.

Touch the source icon and then touch "M-
CD" to select the multi-CD player.

Touch the screen to display the touch
panel keys.

Touch any of 01 – 06 to select a disc you
want to listen to.
If you want to select a disc located at 7 to 12,
touch
When 01 – 06 and 07 – 12 are not displayed,
you can display them by touching "DISP".
You can also sequentially select a disc by
touching 8 or 2 or moving the joystick up or
down.

To skip back or forward to another track,
touch 4 or 6.
Touching 6 skips to the start of the next track.
Touching 4 once skips to the start of the
current track. Touching again will skip to the
previous track.
You can also skip back or forward to another
track by moving the joystick left or right.

To perform fast forward or reverse, keep
touching 4 or 6.
You can also perform fast reverse/fast forward
by holding the joystick left or right.

50-disc multi-CD player

Only those functions described in this manual
are supported for 50-disc multi-CD players.
(But this unit can perform the disc list display up
to Disc 12 with a 50-disc multi-CD player.)

When the multi-CD player has performed
the preparatory operations, READY is
displayed.
If the multi-CD player does not operate
properly, an error message such as
ERROR-11 may be displayed. Refer to the
multi-CD player owner's manual.
If there are no discs in the multi-CD player
magazine, NO DISC is displayed.
