Care and cleaning of the freezer.
Cleaning Your Freezer
::Ji:: Outside. Protect
the paint finish. The

is new and then at least twice a veax:

polish wax or mild liquid dishwashing
detergent.
Dry and polish
with a clean,
soft cloth. Do not wipe the fl'eezer with a
soiled dishwashing
cloth or wet towel.
Do not use scouring
pads, powdered
cleane_,
bleach,
or cleane_
containing
bleach.
CAUTION: Care shouM be taken in mowng the
freezeraway from the waft.Aft types of floor
coveringscan be damaged,particularly cushioned
coveringsand those with embossedsurfaces.
::Ji:: Inside. Clean the inside {ff wmr fl'eezer at
least once a veax: We recommend
that the
ti'eezer be m_plugged
before
cleaning.
If
this is not practical,
wring excess moisture
out of sponge
or cloth when cleaning
in
the vicinity of switches,
lights or controls.
Use w;mn water and baking
soda
solution--about
a tablespoon
of baking
soda to a quart
of water: Rinse thoroughly
with water and wipe d_w: Do not use
cleaning
powde_
or other
abrasive
cleaners.
An open
box of baking
soda in the
fl'eezer will absorb
stale fl'eezer
odm_.
Change
the box eve_T three months.
