Step 8.
Remove the two screws that secure the card reader module to the tray.
Step 9.
Slide the card reader module out then disconnect the data cable from the connector on the card
reader.

Step 10. To install the new card reader module:
a.
Slide the new card reader module into position.
b.
Secure the new card reader module with the two screws.
c.
Connect the data cables to the new card reader module.
d.
Line up the USB-audio-card reader module tray with the guide, then push it into position,
then lock it.
e.
Reattach the top cover.
Step 11. Reattach the front bezel and computer cover.
Replacing the usb-audio module
Note: For this procedure, it helps to lay the computer flat.
To replace the front card reader module:
Step 1.
Remove any media (disks, CDs, DVDs, or memory cards) from the drives, shut down the operating
system, and turn off the computer and all attached devices.
Step 2.
Unplug all power cords from electrical outlets.
Step 3.
Disconnect all cables attached to the computer. This includes power cords, input/output (I/O)
cables, and any other cables that are connected to the computer. Refer to "Left and right view"
and "Rear view" for help with locating the various connectors.
Step 4.
Remove the computer cover. Refer to "Removing the computer cover".
