Activating

Press and hold  button for at least
1 second.
The SmartKey or SmartKey with
KEYLESS-GO* must be within
30 ft (9 m) of the vehicle.
An audible alarm and flashing exterior
lamps will operate briefly.
Safety and Security
Panic alarm

Deactivating

Press  button again.
The SmartKey or SmartKey with
KEYLESS-GO* must be within
30 ft (9 m) of the vehicle.
or
Insert the SmartKey or the SmartKey
with KEYLESS-GO* in starter switch.
or
Press the KEYLESS-GO* start/stop
button ( page 43).
The SmartKey with KEYLESS-GO* must
be in the vehicle.
