It should be noted that the device internally uses 40 bytes of ECC data on all data written or read from
the disk. The 4 byte mode of operation is provided via an emulation. It is recommended that for testing
the effectiveness and integrity of the devices ECC functions that the 40 byte ECC mode be used.
The retry bit. If set to one, then retries are disabled.
The number of requested sectors not transferred.
The sector number of the transferred sector. (L=0)
In LBA mode this register contains current LBA bits 0–7. (L=1)
The cylinder number of the transferred sector. (L=0)
In LBA mode this register contains current LBA bits 8–15 (Low), 16–23 (High).
(L=1)
The head number of the transferred sector. (L=0)
In LBA mode this register contains current LBA bits 24–27. (L=1)
