48 Chapter 5 – Installing MSP 3.2 Server with the Most Common Custom Configuration
Important:
You must select the same database catalog as defined in Figure 29. You also must
use SQL authentication and the user that was selected in Figure 30 to complete the
installation. If you want to use Windows authentication, you can change the runtime
connection string to the desired user as described in Possible Post-Installation Steps
on Page 51.
7. On the Database Runtime Connection dialog box, specify the server where the
database resides, the authentication method you are using, and the name of the
Database. Select SQL Server authentication and enter the Login ID and the Password.
8. Click Next to display the Use a remote instance of Analysis Services Database dialog
box (Figure 43).
9. On the Use a remote instance of Analysis Services Database dialog box, specify the
remote Analysis Services database as required.
10. Click Next to display the MSP User Selection (Required) dialog box (Figure 44).
