INSTALLATION

PRECAUTIONS
• Install the unit in an ideal location where it will not interfere with normal driving procedures.
• Do not install the unit in a place where it will be expose to high temperatures or direct sunlight, or
where it will be prone to dirt, dust, moisture ore excessive vibration.
• Use only the supplied mounting hardware for a safe installation.
• Remove first the front panel before mounting the unit.
NOTE: Do not install the unit so that it will be tilted at more than 30° upward.

Detaching and attaching the front panel

The front panel of this unit can be detached in order to prevent the unit from being stolen.
Before detaching the front panel, turn off the power first by pressing the

Notes:
• When attaching the front panel to the unit, carefully press the panel lightly against the unit. Exces-
sive force may dislodge the unit and cause some malfunction.
• When you carry the front panel with you, put it in the supplied front panel case.
