Operating additional equipment

The direct way to record

You can programme timer recordings for Digital Recorder (if installed) or
connected recorders available according to the equipment on the TV set.
The recording wizard is integrated at several places for programming a
recording. You will find further information about recording with Digital
Recorder in a separate operating manual.
Programming a timer recording with the EPG

➠ If you use an external recorder without Digital Link Plus, you have to
select the recording source (e.g. AUX) in the recorder. This is also the
case when DVB broadcasts are to be recorded. The TV's receiver is used.
➠ When you use an external recorder with Digital Link Plus or a compa-
rable system (e.g. P50), this is controlled automatically.
Timer data are displayed after selecting the broadcast you
want to record. You can change these before confirming.

➠ In devices with Digital Recorder and DR recordings by
EPG Serial can be selected additionally (see also the
instruction manual of the Digital Recorder).
➠ When the automatic time control is activated only once
only can be selected.
