    Do not repair or replace any part of the appliance unless specifically recommended in this manual. All other servicing should be referred to an authorized Jenn-Air Service Contractor. Flammable materials should not be stored near surface units. Do not use water on grease fires. Smother fire or flame or use dry chemical or foam-type extinguisher.

    The variable controls for the cooktop cartridges and grill element provide flexiblity in setting selection. To set (from the OFF position), push down on control knob and turn in ejther direction for desired setting.
