Configuration
Many of the buttons have multiple functions.
control. Take a few minutes to review the descriptions. You will use these to initially set
up your DVR and for daily operations.

Note
There is no separate Alarm button. Pressing any key on the front
panel resets alarm output, including the internal buzzer when the
alarm is activated. However, when you are in the menu or PTZ
mode, you must exit the menu or PTZ mode first to reset the
alarm output.

Function
The POWER LED is lit when the DVR is On.
The ALARM LED is lit when alarm output or internal buzzer is activated.
The REC LED is lit when the DVR is recording. When the DVR is in Panic recording
mode, the REC LED flickers.
The NETWORK LED is lit when the unit is networked, either via Ethernet or modem.
The COPY LED is lit when data is being copied using the internal CD-RW or the
USB port.

Cause the selected camera to display full screen.
Enter passwords.
Function in PTZ mode:
Press CAMERA 1 to zoom in in PTZ mode.
Press CAMERA 2 to zoom out in PTZ mode.
Press CAMERA 3 to control near focus of the PTZ camera in PTZ mode.
Press CAMERA 4 to control far focus of the PTZ camera in PTZ mode.
Enter the Main Menu. You must enter the administrator password to access
the Main Menu. Pressing MENU also closes the current menu or setup dialog
box.
Displays the Search menu in Playback mode.
Loads the PTZ menu in PTZ mode.
Toggle between quad (2x2) display mode and sequence mode.
Loads a Preset view in the PTZ mode.
