Tostartshooting, dothefollowing:
1.Setthemode dialtoAuto mode (a).
2.Press P owertoturnthecamera o n.
3.Compose yourpicture ontheLCD screen
andpress theshutter button halfway to
focus onthesubject.
4.When thesubject i sinfocus, thegreen
colored f ocus frame appears onthecenter
oftheLCD screen.
5.Press S hutter fullytocapture theimage.
Your c amera i sequipped withtwotypes ofzoom:
optical z oom anddigital z oom. Use theZoom
scroll wheel onthetopofthecamera t ozoom
inoroutonyoursubject whiletaking pictures.

When the optical zoom factor reaches its
maximum value, it stops momentarily. Keep
the (Tale) zoom button depressed and zoom
will switch over to digital zoom automatically.
