_' If the subject is poorly lit, tile AF-assistlamp may light to assisttile focus operation.
To turn the AF-assistlamp off, select OFF for [] AF ILLUMINATOR (_ 88).
Focus,exposure and white balance are adjusted automatically throughout record-
ing (tile focus mode carl be selected using tile rdn MOVIE AF MODE option in tile
shooting menu; _
71). Tile color and brightness of tile image may vary from that
displayed before recording begins.
Sounds made by the camera may be recorded.
(l> Do not open tile battery-chamber cover during shooting or saving a movie on a
memory card. Failure to observe this precaution could prevent tile movie from
being played back.
(l} Vertical or horizontal streaksmay appear in movies containing very bright subjects.
This is normal and does not indicate a malfunction.
(l} The temperature of the camera may rise if it is used to record movies for an ex-
tended period or if tile ambient temperature is high. This is normal and does not
indicate a malfunction.
(l} The mode selected may vary with shooting conditions.
