This remote controller enables you to take pictures wirelessly up to
approx. 5 meters/16.4 feet from the camera. You can either shoot
immediately
or use a 2-sec. delay.
Remote control
® Set the self-timer to < _® > (p.106).
® Point the remote controller toward the camera's remote control
sensor and press the transmit button.
_ The camera will autofocus.
_y,, W hen focus is achieved, the self-timer lamp will light up and the
picture will be taken.
_[_ =luorescent or LED lighting may cause camera misoperation
by triggering
the shutter inadvertently.
Try to keep the camera
away from such light
sources.

The Remote Controller can also be used during movie shooting
