Text Entry Procedure
_ Changing the entry area:
Press the <[_]> button to toggle
between the top and bottom entry
areas.
_ Moving the cursor:
Press the <41_> key to move the
cursor.
_ Entering text:
In the bottom area, press the <,_ > key or turn the < _ > dial to
select a character, then press <_)> to enter it.
_ Changing the entry mode:*
Select [Aa=l@] at the bottom right of the bottom entry area. Each
time you press <_)>, the entry mode will change as follows: Lower
case --> Numerals / Symbols 1 --> Numerals / Symbols 2 --> Upper
case.
* When [Touch control: Disable] is set, you can display all the
available characters on one screen.
_ Deleting a character:
Press the <-_> button to delete one character.
_ Exiting:
Press the < MENU> button, check the text, select [OK], then press
<_)>. The screen in step 2 will reappear.
®_Canceling the text entry:
Press the < INFO. > button, check the text, select [OK], then press
<_)>. The screen in step 2 will reappear.
