INSTALLING THE SOURCE UNIT /

/ 본체 설치
■ 일반 탑재
1. 일반 탑재용 받침대를 계기반 안에 두고, 드라이버로 일반 탑재용 받침대의
스토퍼를 각각 안쪽으로 구부려서 그림 4에서 보는 바와 같이 스토퍼를
고정시킵니다.
2. 섹션 6에 나타난 바와 같이 배선을 합니다.
3. 본체는 일반 받침대에 걸릴 때까지 넣습니다.
4. 외부 프레임의 위 아래를 주의해서 전부의 훅이 잠기도록 탑재시킵니다.

toward the inside with your fingers and attach it to the side of car.

Fixed Mount
■
(TOYOTA, NISSAN and other ISO/DIN equipped
vehicles)
This unit is designed for fixed installation in the dashboard.
If the vehicle is equipped with a factory-installed radio, install the source unit
with the parts and screws marked (H) (Figure 7).
If the vehicle is not equipped with a factory-installed radio, obtain an installation
kit to install the source unit in the following procedure.
Bend the stopper following the procedures below when this source unit is
installed to the TOYOTA, NISSAN and other ISO/DIN equipped vehicles.
1. Bend the stopper from the source unit. (Figure 5, 6)

2. Secure the mounting brackets to the chassis as shown in Figure 7. Holes are
pre-tapped for TOYOTA and NISSAN vehicles; modification, such as drilling
new holes, of the mounting brackets may be required for other models.
3. Wire as shown in Section 6.
4. Secure the unit in the dashboard, and then reassemble the dashboard and
the center panel.

• In some cases, the center panel may require some modification (trimming,
filling, etc.).

• If a hook on the installation bracket interferes with the unit, bend and flatten it
with a nipper or a similar tool.

REMOVAL OF THE SOURCE UNIT /

1. When removing the source unit, disassemble it in the reverse of the order in
Section "3. INSTALLING THE SOURCE UNIT".
2. Remove the Detachable Control Panel (DCP).

For instructions on removing the DCP, refer to the owner's manual.
3. Press the outer escutcheon upward and remove it. (Figure 8)
4. Insert and lock the hook plates. (Figure 9)
5. Pull the hook plates to remove the source unit.

CAUTIONS ON WIRING /
1. Be sure to turn the power off when wiring.
2. Be particularly careful where you route the wires. Keep them well away from
the engine, exhaust pipe, etc. Heat may damage the wires.
3. If the fuse should blow, check that the wiring is correct.
If it is, replace the fuse with a new one with the same amperage rating as the
original one. (Figure 10)
Note:
• There are various types of fuse holder. Do not let the battery side touch other
metal parts.
4. Connect the CeNET extension cable fully and securely until it locks. When
the CeNET extension cable is pulled, hold the slide cap part and pull it
towards you.

When the CeNET extension cable is extended or branches, use extension
cable CCA-520 (2.5m) or CCA-521 (0.6m), or Y-adapter CCA-519 (each of
them is sold separately).
∗ Use the CeNET extension cable made by Clarion.
5. When the main power supply fuse in the car is 15 A or less, purchase an
automotive cable that can withstand 15 A and supply this unit with power
directly from the battery to ensure that the unit will operate normally.
Note that a fuse must be installed at a distance no longer than 30 cm from
the cable battery terminal to prevent accidents.

接线中的注意事项

공장 출고시 라디오가 장착되지 않은 자동차는, 설치 세트를 구해서 다음과 같은
순서로 본체를 설치하십시오.
토요타, 닛산 그리고 ISO/DIN 규격을 갖춘 자동차에 본체를 설치할 때에는
아래의 순서에 따라 스토퍼를 구부리십시오.
1. 본체의 스토퍼를 구부립니다. (그림 5, 6)

2. 그림 7에서 보는 바와 같이 탑재 받침대를 차대에 고정시킵니다. 토요타와
닛산 자동차용에는 구멍이 이미 뚫려 있습니다. 다른 모델 자동차의 경우,
새로 구멍을 뚫는 등 탑재 받침대의 변경이 필요할 수도 있습니다.

1. 배선을 할 때는 반드시 전원을 꺼 주십시오.
2. 케이블의 연결 부위는 특히 주의가 필요합니다. 케이블은 엔진, 배기관
등으로부터 충분히 떨어진 곳에 두어, 열로 인해 손상을 입지 않도록 하여
주십시오.
3. 퓨즈가 나갔을 경우, 배선이 올바로 되어 있는지 확인하십시오.
배선에 문제가 없다면, 퓨즈를 원래의 것과 동일한 암페어의 새 것으로 교체해
주십시오.(그림 10)

• 다양한 타입의 퓨즈 홀더가 있습니다. 배터리의 양쪽 단자가 다른 금속 부분과
닿지 않도록 하십시오.
4. CeNET 연장 케이블을 충분히 그리고 단단히 연결하여 잠겨지도록 합니다.
CeNET 연장 케이블이 당겨져 있으면, 슬라이드 캡 부분을 잡고 앞쪽으로
당기십시오.

CeNET 연장 케이블을 연장 또는 분기할 때는 연장 케이블로 CCA-
520 (2.5m) 또는 CCA-521 (0.6m) 또는 Y-어댑터 CCA-519를 사용해
주십시오 (모두 별매).

Clarion제의 CeNET 연장 케이블을 사용하십시오.
5. 자동차의 주 전원 공급 퓨즈가 15A 이하인 경우, 기기의 정상 작동을
위해15A에도 견딜 수 있고 배터리에서 이 기기에 직접 전원을 공급할 수
있는 차량용 케이블을 구입하여 주십시오. 사고 방지를 위해 퓨즈는 반드시
케이블 배터리 단자로부터 30 cm 이내의 거리에 설치되어야 한다는 점에
주의하십시오.
