The Dell logo will be displayed for 30 seconds. 4. Turn on your source (computer, notebook, DVD, etc.). The projector automatically detects your source.

Volume Increase or decrease the speaker volume. Video Mode Switch the display mode within PC Mode, Movie Mode, Game Mode, sRGB Mode, User Mode per your preference.

Video Mode The Dell 2300MP Micro-projector has preset configurations that are optimized for displaying data (PC Graphics) or video (movies, games, etc.). Press Video Mode button to toggle between PC mode, Movie mode, Game Mode, sRGB, or User mode (for user to setup and save preferred settings).

    Using Your Projector: Dell 2300MP Projector 4:3/16:9 Press 4:3/16:9 button to switch aspect ratio 1:1, 16:9, 4:3 as described below. Volume +/- Press the Vol+ button to increase the volume, press the Vol- button to reduce the volume. Keystone Adjusts image distortion caused by tilting the projector. (±16 degrees)
  • Page 21 Using Your Projector: Dell 2300MP Projector Brightness Adjust the brightness of the image. Press to darken the image. Press to lighten the image. Contrast Control the degree of difference between the brightest and darkest parts of the picture. Adjusting the contrast changes the amount of black and white in the image.
  • Page 22 Using Your Projector: Dell 2300MP Projector This mode allows for manual adjustment of red, green, and blue color settings. Modifying these values will automatically change the color temperature to "user". Keystone Adjusts image distortion caused by tilting the projector. (±16 degrees) Aspect Ratio Select this function to fit 1:1, 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio.
  • Page 23 Using Your Projector: Dell 2300MP Projector Setting 10 will maximize the brightness. Setting 0 will maximize color reproduction quality. Degamma Degamma can be adjusted between 1 and 4. Default setting is 3 (Recommended). Adjustment of the setting will change the color performance of the display.

Rear Projection-Desktop The projector reverses the image so you can project from behind a translucent screen. Front Projection-Ceiling Mount The projector turns the image upside down for ceiling-mounted projection.
  • Page 26 Using Your Projector: Dell 2300MP Projector Use this function to select the power saving delay period. Press "Yes" to go into the "set time" sub menu. Set Time (Min) Set the power saving delay period as you prefer. When the projector is not receiving an input signal for the selected period of time, the projector will automatically enter power saving mode, and turn off the lamp.
  • Page 27 Using Your Projector: Dell 2300MP Projector Language Language Press to select the preferred language. Factory Reset Menu Factory Reset Select Yes to reset the projector to its factory default settings. Reset items include both computer image and video image settings.

Frequency Change the display data clock frequency to match the frequency of your computer graphics card. If you see a vertical flickering bar, use the frequency control to minimize the bars.
