Use this mode to take
pictures of a moving
subject.
It gives priority to faster
shutter speeds.
CHECK
When setting . Sport mode, the camera sets to High-
speed shooting mode (➝p.71) automatically.
/ NIGHT (
LONG EXPOSURE)
Use this mode for shooting
evening and night scenes.
A picture is taken with a slow
shutter of up to 3 seconds.
CHECK
Long exposure can be used in only the / NIGHT
mode.
• Use a tripod to prevent camera shake, because a
picture is taken with a slow shutter.

Selecting the
Long exposure setting allows you to
take a picture of a main subject in low-light condition.
You can select shutter speeds from 1 to 15 seconds in this
mode.
