Problems Possible causes
AC power adapter was connected or
disconnected during turning the camera
on.

The camera volume is set too low.
The microphone was blocked during
shooting/recording.
There is something covering the speaker
during playback.
Some frames may be protected.
You opened the battery cover without
turning the camera off when replacing the
batteries or Memory Card.
Solutions
Connect or disconnect the AC power
adapter and DC coupler only when the
camera is off. Failing to turn the camera
off first can result in damage to the
Memory Card or malfunctions during PC
connection.
Solutions
Adjust the volume.
Take care not to block the microphone
during shooting/recording.
Make sure that the speaker is uncovered.
Unprotect frames using the camera on
which the protection was first applied.
Always turn the camera off when
replacing the batteries or Memory Card.
Opening the battery cover without turning
the camera off may cause the frame
number memory to not function.
