The unused power cord connectors are covered with the protective cap to prevent short circuits and electrical hazards. Supported OS You need to install VMware ESX Server 3.0.2ft, hereinafter called as “ESX Server”, for using the NEC Express5800/ft series.

    INSTALLATION This section describes installation of NEC Express5800/ft series. Rack-mount Model You can mount NEC Express5800/ft series on a rack that conforms to the EIA standards. IMPORTANT: NEC Express5800/ft series is a precision instrument. You should ask maintenance personnel to install it.
  • Page 43  Do not leave more than one device pulled out from the rack.  Do not install excessive wiring. Do not install NEC Express5800/ft series in such places as listed below. If you locate racks or install the server in such places, the server may malfunction.

    When the operating temperatures of NEC Express5800/ft series (10 to 35°C) are exceeded, there is a risk of malfunction. You must take adequate precautions and measures for airflow inside the rack as well as in the room so that the internal temperature can be kept within this range during operation.
