Adjusting Tone Curve

The tone curve is a tool for controlling the brightness and tone of an image by visually adjusting the curve in
the histogram. It also allows you to adjust the color balance by specifying the values for the R(red), G(green),
and B(blue) channels.
To adjust the brightness using the tone curve, follow the procedure below.

From the [Filter] menu in the [Image Edit] window, select [Tone Curve].
The edit setting panel shows the [Tone Curve] options.

To adjust the color balance by specifying the values for the R(red), G(green),
and B(blue) channels, click the [▼] button of [Select Channel] to select the
channel to be adjusted.

Grab any part of the line with the mouse and lift it up or lower it down.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you get the desired brightness.

Click the [Apply] button.
The brightness and tone of the image in the image display area is adjusted.
