Mobile AP

Learn about the Mobile AP feature, which sets your device
as an wireless AP (Access Point) to connect to the internet
on other network devices.

In Menu mode, select Settings
Mobile AP.

Select Mobile AP on the top to activate the Mobile
AP feature.

Select Settings to customize the Mobile AP feature:
Option Function
View and edit the device name that
Name
will be shown to external devices.
View or edit the network key to
Password prevent unauthorized access to the
network.

Option Function
Hide my Block other devices from locating your
device device.
Activate or deactivate the tethering
Tethering function to use your mobile device as
a wireless modem for another device.
When you are finished, select Back.
From another device, locate your device's name in the
available connection list and connect to the network
by entering the appropriate password in the WPA field.
