Send and view messages

Learn to send or view text (SMS), multimedia (MMS),
and email messages.
Send a text or picture message
1. In Menu mode, select Messages  Create
New Message.
2. Select Tap to Add Recipient.
3. Select a contact from one of the categories and
select Add, or select Enter Manually, enter a
destination number and select Done.
4. Select Tap to Add Text.
5. Enter your message text and select Done.


6. To add multimedia, select Add Multimedia and
add an item.
7. Select Send to send the message.
Send an email
1. In Menu mode, select Messages 
MobileMail.
2. Select an email service and follow the onscreen
instructions to create and send email.
Enter text
With your phone's touch screen or the QWERTY
keyboard, you can enter text and create messages
or notes.
Enter text using the virtual keypad
When you open the text input field, the virtual keypad
appears.
• Select T9 to switch between T9 and ABC modes.
Depending on your region, you may be able to
access an input mode for your specific language.
