To change how long your phone waits
before the screen automatically turns off,
touch Apps >
Sleep.

Volume Keys
Your volume keys help in a few ways:
• Ringer volume:
home screen, or press them when your
phone is ringing to silence it.
• Earpiece volume:
a call.
• Music/video volume:
during a song or video.

Just tell your phone what you'd like:
Tip: Speak naturally but clearly, like using a
speakerphone.
• Google Now:
page 10, to tell your phone what you
want. To find out the time in a different
location, say "Google", then "What's the
time in Chicago".
• Dialing and commands:
Voice Commands. To dial, say "Call"
and then a contact name or phone
number. Or, say a command like "Send
Text," "Go to" and app, or "Help" for voice
command help. For more, see "Voice
Dial" on page 29.
To choose the confirmations and
prompts you want to hear,
touch Apps
then touch
