when the device is off and the
ignition is on
To display the time when the device is off
and the vehicle ignition is on,
press the MENU•OK button 5.

Sound

You can adjust the sound (bass, middle and
treble) separately for each source (radio,
CD, CD changer, AUX).
The settings for X-BASS and the volume dis-
tribution are used for all audio sources.
You can adjust the sound and the volume
distribution settings separately for traffi c
information and telephone/navigation.
Notes:
• The settings of the sound and the
volume distribution for traffi c infor-
mation and telephone/navigation
can only be adjusted during a traffi c
announcement or during a telephone
call/voice output.
• If you want to adjust the sound, fi rst
select the audio source to which the
settings should be applied.

Adjusting the bass

You can select one of four middle frequen-
cies (60 Hz, 80 Hz, 100 Hz, 200 Hz). In ad-
dition, you can adjust the level between -7
and +7 for the selected bass frequency.
