    Before you begin: Only use the micro SIM card provided by your wireless service provider. If you have a BlackBerry PlayBook tablet that can connect to mobile networks, you need to insert a micro SIM card before the tablet can connect with a mobile network.

    Before you begin: If you want to start using a new BlackBerry PlayBook tablet, you can use the BlackBerry Desktop Software on your computer to move your media files, applications, and settings from your current tablet to your new tablet.

    When you set up your BlackBerry PlayBook tablet, you are prompted to create your BlackBerry ID. You can choose the email address that you want to use for your BlackBerry ID. If you have a user name and password that you use for email accounts on your BlackBerry smartphone, that user name is different than your BlackBerry ID.
