4. CONNECTIONS

WARNING: To prevent the risk
of electric shock, do not connect
the loudspeaker with the amplifier
switched on. Never touch the bare
wires coming from the output
terminals of the amplifier when it is
switched on. When the connections
have been made, add the protective
insulated cover over the screw
terminals of each transformer
panel in your system, and over the
amplifier output terminals.
• The connectors on the transformer
plate are screw terminals.
• Strip the loudspeaker wiring back
about 1/2", loosen the screw enough
to loop the wire around the shaft of
the screw (clockwise), and tighten
down the screw with a screwdriver.
• In a constant-voltage distribution
system, all the loudspeakers are
connected in parallel. This makes it
easy to add or remove loudspeakers
from the system without having to
recalculate the impedance of the
load on the amplifier.
• Add up the power ratings of the taps
you are using, and make sure the
total power adds up to no more than
90% of the rated output power of
the amplifier being used.
AC-TX64
• The AC-TX64
can be used with
the VR61, VR62
and the CLA37
Loudspeakers.
