Date and time
Allows you to change the date and time settings and to set the
phone to show or hide the date and time in stand-by mode.
To adjust the date and time settings:
1. From the stand-by display, press

2. Scroll to one of the following options and then press
customise the time settings:
D at e : enables you to use the N U M B E R keys to set the date on the
phone
enables you to use the N U M B E R keys to set the time on the
Ti m e:
clock
enables you to set the valid offset from GMT
Ti m e z o ne :
enables you to select between Wintertime or
D a y l i g h t sa v i n g :
Summertime (+1 or +2 hours) daylight saving periods.
3. Scroll down and select S a v e
To adjust the date format:

2. Scroll to one of the following options and then press
customise the time settings:

sets the time in 24-hour or 12-hour format

Automatic update of time
This is a network service. You can set your Vertu phone to update
the time from the network when you turn the phone on. If the clock
is 30 seconds or more off the network time, the time will be updated
automatically to reflect the network time.
Automatic update of the time does not change the time you have set
for the alarm clock, calendar, or alarm notes. These are in local time.
Updating may cause some alarms that you have set to expire.
To use automatic time update:
1. From the stand-by display, press

O n updates the time automatically
C o n f i r m f i r s t requests confirmation before updating the time.
You can accept or decline the update
O f f disables automatic updates of time.

Stopwatch
Use the stopwatch to measure time, take intermediate times or take
lap times. You can save times under a specified name. During
timing, the other functions of the phone can be used
