To use the SSL VPN standalone tunnel client (Windows)
1 Go to Start > All Programs > Fortinet > FortiClient SSL VPN >
FortiClient SSL VPN.
Server Address
Username
Password
Expand button
Client Certificate
Save user name and
password
Keep connection
alive until manually
stopped
2 Select Connect.
3 To manually terminate the connection, select Exit.
To uninstall the SSL VPN standalone tunnel client (Windows)
1 Go to Start > Control Panel.
2 Select Add or Remove Programs.
3 Select 'FortiClient SSL VPN' and then Remove.
Enter the IP address of the server you need to access.
Enter your user name.
Enter the password associated with your user account.
Select to expand the dialog box and display Client Certificate,
Save user name and password, and Keep connection alive
until manually stopped.
Select the authentication certificate from the drop-down list, if
required.
Select to save the value in Username and Password for future
logins.
Select to have the connection stay up until you log out.
