Product Advertising API Developer Guide

tagged in the XML response with <SimilarViewedProducts> and <SimilarViewedProduct>, are displayed
on the retail web site under the heading, "Customers who viewed this [item] also viewed"
• Can be found in other categories that are similar to the item specified in the request. These results,
tagged in the XML response with <OtherCategoriesSimilarProducts> and
<OtherCategoriesSimilarProduct>, are displayed on the retail web site under the heading, "Explore
Similar Items," which falls under the heading, "Customers who bought this [item] also bought."
This response group returns a number of items similar to the one the customer added to the shopping
cart. The response group is used typically to spur the customer's interest in purchasing additional items.
