The voice aid application reads text on the screen,

Select from the following:
Contacts — Hear the entries in your contacts list. Do

not use this option if you have more than 500
contacts.
Recent calls — Hear information on your missed and

received calls, dialed numbers, and frequent calls.
Voice mailbox — Retrieve and listen to your voice

messages.
Dialler — Dial a telephone number.

Clock — Hear the current time and date.

To hear more options, select Options.
