Precautions

Do not place the memory module in places subject to:
- Heat sources such as radiators or air ducts,
- Direct sunlight,
- Excessive dust,
- Mechanical vibration or shock,
- Strong magnets or speakers that are not magnetically shielded,
- Ambient temperature of more than +35°C or less than +5°C,
- High humidity.

Removing and installing a memory module

To change or add a memory module, proceed as follows:
1 Shut down your computer and disconnect all peripheral devices.
2 Unplug the computer and remove the battery pack(s).
3 Wait until the computer cools down.
4 Turn the computer upside down.
5 Open the memory compartment cover on the bottom by unscrewing the screw (turn anti-clockwise), as
shown.
