3D Video

Emitters for controlling 3D glasses are as follows.
742 Series: Internal IR emitter, Internal DLP Link
Signal, or Optional External emitter.
842 Series: Internal Bluetooth ® RF, Internal DLP Link
Signal, or Optional External emitter.
• Active-shutter 3D glasses compatible with any one
of the following:

The TV's internal emitters
-
DLP link
-
A matching external synchronization emitter
connected to the TV's back panel
For 742 Series: Glasses compatible with the TV's IR
internal (742 Series) emitters are:

XPAND model 3DG-X103 IR glasses made for
Mitsubishi 3D TVs
-
XPAND model X103 Universal IR glasses
For 842 Series: Glasses compatible with the TV's
internal Bluetooth ® RF emitters are:

Refer to the company website for the recom-
mended 3D glasses.
For all models:

All glasses made to use the DLP link system

• A compatible 3D source device connected to the
TV via HDMI or StreamTV Internet and outputting a
3D signal in one of these formats:

Frame Packing 1080p@24 Hz or 720p@60 Hz

• Turns off 3D images; displays 3D content
as 2D (you may see two images).
• Restores normal TV adjustment options
when viewing an ordinary 2D signal.

Initial Setup
1.
If your 3D glasses came with a synchronization emitter,
connect the unit to the 3D GLASSES EMITTER jack.
Place the emitter at the front of the TV where there is a
clear path to the glasses.
Note: No emitter is required if using the TV's internal
emitters or DLP Link.

Connecting an external emitter

Power on the TV and the source device.

Connect the source device to the TV's HDMI input.
4.
When the New Device Found screen displays,
name the input.
5.
Press EXIT to close the New Device Found screen.
