FUSE:

This is the A.C. Mains Fuse for the CARBINE. REPLACE ONLY WITH A SLO-BLO TYPE FUSE OF THE PROPER
RATING. THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, AS THE CARBINE DRAWS A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF CURRENT AT HIGH
OUTPUT LEVEL SETTINGS.
FUSE rating for USA/japan - 15A S.B.

A.C. RECEPTACLE:

The removable "Euro" Style" A.C. cord that is supplied with the CARBINE makes set-ups and tear-downs
after the gig a snap. It also makes de-racking much easier when you wish to remove the unit from a hardwired rack system where
all the A.C. cords have been cable-tied in. Additional heavy duty cords are available should you ever need one...
simply call us and we can ship one directly to you for a nominal charge, plus shipping cost. Make sure the A.C.
cord is firmly in its socket (receptacle) before powering up the amplifier.
NOTE: NEVER ALTER THE THREE PRONG POWER CORD IN ANY WAY.
HEAT PROTECTION CIRCUIT BREAKER:
under situations of extremely heavy load (playing at maximum volume for extended periods) or when the amplifier is subjected to above normal
operating temperatures (as when it's mounted in racks that have inadequate ventilation space). This breaker is also a kind of

reduce your playing volume or provide more ventilation or both. If the breaker trips the amplifier will shut down and the pilot

light will go out. At that point you should reduce playing volume, check for adequate ventilation and push the circuit breaker

back in to reset the breaker. Then turn the POWER switch off and back on to resume playing.
There is another level of protection in the transformer itself. Should you reset the circuit breaker and continue to play without
changing the load conditions, (turning down volume or providing more ventilation) the transformer protect circuit will kick in and
shut the amplifier down until such time that it returns to a safe operating temperature. When the transformer has cooled suf-
ficiently the circuit will once again allow signal to pass and you may resume playing by turning the POWER switch to the off position and turning
it back on. If the amplifier does not come back on you will have to wait longer for the transformer to reach the safe operating zone again.
The M9 CARBINE incorporates a push-to-reset circuit breaker to protect the transformer
