Cleaning and maintenance

1. Cleaning the exterior
Wipe the body of the dryer and the control panel with a damp cloth.
Remember not to use any organic solvents or corrosive agents to avoid
damage to the appliance.
2. Cleaning the filter screen
To ensure good ventilation during
drying, the filter screen must
be cleaned after every drying
programme is complete.
Open the door and remove the filter
screen from the machine. See Fig. 3.
Open the screen and clean off the
dust on the screen with a wet towel.
After cleaning, put the screen back
in place.
3. Emptying the water collection box
During operation, steam condenses
into water and is collected in the
box. The box must be emptied after
the programme is complete.
- Hold the handle and pull the box
outwards to remove it. Keep it
level to prevent the water from
overflowing. See Fig. 4.
- Pour away water. See Fig. 5.
Note: the water cannot be used for
drinking or for food processing.
- Put the box back in place. If the
box has not been emptied, the
dryer will sound an alarm when
the box is full. The indicator light
comes on while the box is emptied
and the dryer will stop. It will not
restart until the box is emptied.
