This hal)pens when the refl'igerator is first plugged
in, when the doors are opened fl'equently or when
a large amount of fired is added to the refl'igerator
or fl'eezer compartments. The rims are helping to
maintain the correct temperatures.
• If either door is open tot over 3 minutes, you may
hear the rims come on in order to cool the light
bulbs.
• The rims change speeds in order to provide optimal
cooling and energy savings.
• You may hear the rims running atter selecting one of
the CustomCoo[%ettings.

• The flow of refl'igerant through the fl'eezer cooling
coils may make a gurgling noise like boiling water.
• Water dropping on the defl'ost heater can cause a
sizzling, i)oi)ping or buzzing sotxxld dm'ing the
defrost cycle.
• A water dripping noise may occur during the defrost
cvcle as ice melts ti'om the evaporator and flows into
the drain pan.
• Closing the door may catxse a gurgling sound dtxe to
pressure equalization.
