Usingthe oven.
Toavoid possible bums, place the shelves in the desired position before you turn the oven on.

The oven has 6 shelf 3osifions.
Before you begin...
The shelves haxe stop-locks, so that when
placed correctly on the shelf supports (A
through F), the}.' will stop before coming
complemly out, and will not flit.
_]_en placing and remofing cookware,
pull the shelf out m the bump on the shelf
support.
Toremovea shelf, pull it toward you, tilt the
front end up and pull it out.
TOreplace, place the end of the shelf
(stop-locks) on the support, flit up the fl'ont
and push the shelf in.
CAUTION: When youareusing thesheff i n thelowest
position (A), y ouwi//need tousecaution when puffing
theshelf o ut.Werecommend that y oupufftheshelf
outseveral inches a ndthen, u sing twopotholders, pu//
theshelf o utbyholding thesides ofit. The shelf i slow
andyoucould beburned i f youp/ace your h and in the
middle o f theshelf a nd pu//a//theway out.Beyen/
careful nottoburn yourhand onthedoor when using
theshelf i n thelowest position (A).
How to Set the Oven for Baking or Roasting

Touch the Bake pad.
Touch the + or - pads until the
desired tempe[_ature is displayed.

Touch the Start/On pad.
The o_n will start automaflcally. The display
will show PrEwhile preheaflng,
h]mn the
o_n reaches the selected temperature,
the
oxen conu'ol will beep sexeval flmes and the
display will show the oxen tempeI_aUlI'e.
Tochange the oventemperature d uringBAKE cyc/e,
touchthe Bake padandthenthe+ or- padsto get
the newtemperature.
Check. food for doneness at minimum
nine on recipe. Cook longer if necessai>

Touch the Clear/Offl)ad when baking
is finished and then remove the food

Preheating
and Pan Placement
Preheat the o_enif the recipe calls for it.
Preheaflng is necessaU %r good resultswhen
baking cakes, cookies, pasuy and breads.
The Display willshow "PrE" w hile preheating W hen
theoven reaches theselected temperature,
theoven
control willbeep and thedisplay w illshow theoven
temperature.
Baking resultswill be better if baking pans are
cenmred in the oven as much as possible. If
baking with more than one pan, place the
pans so each has at least 1 to 1½" of air space
around it. If baking four cake layers at the
same time, place two layerson shelf B and two
layers on shelf D. Stagger pans on the shelf so
one is not directly abo_e the other
Aluminum Foil
Donotusealuminum foilonthebottom oftheoven.
Ne_r entirely co_er a shelf with ahmfinum
foil. This will dismrh the heat ciivulaflon and
resultin poor baking.
A smaller sheet of foil may be used to catch
a spillover hy placing it on a lower shelf several
inches below the food.
