Extra Rinse
When you use exu'a detergent or bleach
to clean heavily soiled clothes, you may
want to use the Extra Rinse option. This
option provides a second deep cold rinse
in the COTTONS (_,cle. Turn the Extra Rinse
knob to SET.
Thewasherwillpause for a few minutes
before the ExtraRinse option begins.

SensorWash (on some models)
The SensorWashsensesthe incoming water temperatureand adjuststhe fill water to obtain a
more precise temperaturerange for all three washtemperatures.You may select (:old, warm
or hot. For example, in a Cold Wash selection, some wmm water may be added to reach a
temperature needed to better dissolve deteEgent_s. Often, detergents are not completely
dissolvedin very cold water,especially in cooler climates.
NOTE: The SensorWash_dll not adjust the fill on WARM WASHunless die washer lid is
closed. Besureto startthe washer afterthe lid is closed.
SPOTSOAK
Spot Soak (on some models)
When you open the washer lid and press the SPOTSOAKbutton, you will see a short stream
of cold water.
Open the washer lid.
[_-_Press the SPOTSOAKbutton. (You will see a short stremn of water.)
[-_]Dmnpen your soiled garment with the SPOTSOAK option and mb your f:avorite
pretreatznent product into soiled area.
NOTE:TheSPOTSOAKoption will not work if
• the washerlidis down
• the washer tub is filling
• the water has already reached the
level youselected.
Liquid Bleach Dispenser (on some models)
The dispenser dilutes liquid chlorine bleach before it reaches into your wash load.
F-_]Check clothing care labels for special instructions.
[_-_Measure liquid bleach carefldly, following instructions on the bottle.
• Neverpour undilutedliquid chlorinebleachdirect& onto clothesor into the washbasket.
• Donot pour powderedbleachinto bleachdispenser.
Fj] Before starting the washer, pour measured amount of bleach directly into bleach
dispenser. Avoid splashing or over-filling dispenser. If you prefer to use powdered
bleach, add it into the wash basket with your detergent.
• Donot mix chlorinebleachwith ammoniaor acids suchas vinegarand/orrust remover.Mixing can
producea toxicgaswhich maycausedeath.
