If no master hard disk password is available, neither Lenovo nor Lenovo authorized service technicians provide any services to reset either the user hard disk password or the master hard disk password, or to recover data from the hard disk drive.

    If the LCD you are servicing has two or less visible defective pixels, it should not be considered faulty. However, if the LCD has three or more visible defective pixels, it will be deemed as defective by Lenovo and it should be replaced.

    If you replace the system board, you must restore the serial number of the system unit to its original value.
