Finding Contacts Entries

There are several ways to display your Contacts entries:
by name, by Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), by speed
dial number, and by group. Follow the steps outlined in the
sections below to display entries from the Contacts menu.
Finding Names
To find Contacts entries by name:
1. From the Contacts list display, scroll through all the entries
using your navigation key.

From the Contacts list display, enter the first letter or the first
few letters of the name. (The more letters you enter, the
more your search narrows.)
2. To display an entry, highlight your desired entry and

3. To make the call, highlight an entry, and select a phone
number using the navigation key right or left (if there are
multiple saved phone numbers), and then press
To find Contacts entries by Automatic Speech Recognition
(ASR):
1. Press and hold
2. Say "Call" and then the name you would like to find. If the
software finds multiple matches, a list of the most likely
names is displayed. You will hear the voice prompt "Did you
say..." followed by the matched name.
3. Say "Yes" to confirm the name, or "No" to change the
selection.
Note: Your phone will automatically place a call if the name is completely
recognized.
