Installing the Saw Blade

1. Loosen the blade guard release knob (Fig. 1).
. To open the blade guard, press the spindle lock with one
hand, and, with the other hand, use the nut wrench (sup-
plied) to turn the shaft nut counterclockwise (Fig. ).
3. Remove the motor-shaft nut and the outer flange. Leave
the inner flange on the blade shaft (Fig. 3).
