    MAINTENANCE STRING REPLACEMENT See Figures 16, 17, 18 and 19. SPOOL SPRING 1 Stop the engine and disconnect the sparking plug wire. Hold the string head and unscrew the spool ARROWS ON retainer. Turn anticlockwise. SPOOL 2 Remove the spool from the string head. NOTE: Keep the spring attached to the spool.
