configure wireless device-db

configure wireless device-db <id number> bind [ap-mac | ap-serial
| ap-ipaddr] [attach-switch <ipaddr> | ports <vport>]
Description
Binds the A300 that corresponds to the specified device-db table entry ID on the Discovery switch to an
Attachment switch or virtual port with the specified binding type. The device-db table is automatically
populated.
Syntax Description
ap-mac
Specifies the MAC address of the A300.
ap-serial
Specifies the serial number of the A300.
ap-ipaddr
Specifies the IP address of the A300.
ipaddr
Specifies the IP address of the Attachment switch.
vport
Specifies a virtual port on the switch in the format virtual:n, where n is the virtual port number.

Usage Guidelines
The device database is used to store information about A300s that are not in the redirect database and
not specified by virtual port binding.
Example
The following example binds the A300 that corresponds to the device-db table entry
switch to the Attachment switch with IP address
an entry for the A300 in the redirect-db table with binding-type specified as
configure wireless device-db 1 bind ap-mac attach-switch 10.211.32.202
The following example binds the A300 that corresponds to the device-db table entry

configure wireless device-db 2 bind ap-serial ports virtual:1
