Shooting panoramic images
Shoots multiple
images and allows you to create a panoramic
image fiom composed
images while you pan the camera. You can create both up and down, and right and left
panoramic
images.
1 Set the mode dial to _
(Sweep
Panorama).
Hold the camera at the position
where you can see the LCD screen
clearly.
Press
the MENU
button
for changing
[Shooting
Direction]
or [hnage
Size]
(page
58).
This part will not be taken.
Fully press the shutter button.

Pan the camera following the
indication on the screen.
When a guidance
bar reaches to the end, the
shooting stops and panoramic
images are
recorded.
Guidance
bar
• If you cannot pan the camera
across the entire
subject within the given time, a gray area occurs in
the composed
image. If' this happens,
move the camera
fast to record a full panoramic
image.
• Since several images are stitched
together,
the stitched
part will not be recorded
smoothly.
• You cannot create panoramic
images in the following
situations:
You pan the camera too fast or too slow
There is too much camera
shake
You pan the camera in a different
direction
from the setting
• Under low light conditions,
panoramic
images may be blurred.
