Lower (bobbin) Threading
Turn power switch to "0".
1. Raise the needle to its highest position by turning the balance
wheel toward you (counterclockwise) and raise the presser
foot lifter.
2. Open the shuttle cover behind the extension table on the front
of the machine and remove the bobbin case by pulling its
latch toward you and pulling it out from the shuttle race (fig.
A).
3. Unwind about 10 cm (4") of thread from a full bobbin and
insert the bobbin into the bobbin case. (See fig. B-1 .) Pull the
trailing thread into the slot, down and to the left, as shown in
fig. B-2, until it enters the delivery eye under the tension
spring (fig. B-3).
4. Holding the bobbin case by the latch, fully insert the bobbin
case into the shuttle race and release the latch. Make sure the
bobbin case finger fits into the notch at the top of the race as
shown in fig. C.
NOTE:
If the bobbin case is not properly placed back into the machine, it
will fall out from the shuttle immediately after starting to sew.

Mise en place du fil inf rieur (canette)
Mettre I'interrupteur principal sur "0".
1. Remonter compl6tement I'a_guille en tournant le volant vers
soi (dans le sens oppos( aux aiguilles d'une montre) et relever
le levier du pied-de-biche.
2. Ouvrir le couvercle de la navette, derriere la table
d'extension, _ I'avant de la machine, et retirer le bo_tier de la
canette en tirant la languette m(tallique vers soi pour le sortir
de la coursi6re. (fig. A)
3. D(vider environ 10 cm de fil de la canette pleine et ins(rer la
canette dans le bo_tier (voir fig. B-l). Faire passer le fil qui
d_passe dans la fente, en bas et vers la gauche, comme illustr_
sur la fig. B-2, jusqu'_ ce qu'il s'ins6re dans I'orifice de sortie
sous le ressort de tension (fig.B-3).
4. Tout en tenant le boFtier par le Ioquet m(tallique, I'enfoncer
fond dans la navette et rel_cher la languette m(tallique. Bien
veiller _ ce que la languette m(tallique du boFtier s'introduise
dans I'encoche en haut de la glissi6re, comme le montre la
fig. C ci-dessous.
ReMARQUe.
Si le bottler n'est pas plac_ correctement, il va s'(chapper de la
navette d6s qu'on commence _ coudre.

Coloque el interruptor principal en "0 ".
1. Levante la agt(ja a sty posicidn rods alta, girando la ruedecilla
hacia usted (en el sentido contrario al de las manecillas de un
reloj) y levante la palanca del prensatelas.
2. Abra la tapa del soporte para accesorios, en la parte delantera de
la mdquina, y retire el portacanillas de la mdquina, tirando la uffa
metdlica (pestillo) hacia usted y sacdndola de la lanzadera (fig.
A).
3. Tire unos 10 cm (4") de hilo de una canilla llena e inserte la
canilla en el portacanillas. (Vdase fig. B-1.) Tire del hilo suelto y
pdselo pot la hendidura, abajo y hacia la izquienta, tal como se
indica en la fig. B-2, basra que quepa dentro del fleja de presidn.
(jig. B-3).
4. Sujetando el portacanillas pot la uffa metdlica, introdflzcalo en la
lanzadera y suelte el pestillo. Asegflrese de que la uffeta metdlica
del portacanillas se encaje en la rtmura arriba tal como se indica
en la fig. C a continuacidn.
NOTA:
Si el portacanillas no se encuentra bien colocado en la mdquina, se
saldrd de sty alojamiento inmediatamente despuds de empezar a coser

Passagem da linha inferior (da bobina)
Oire o interruptor de forga at6 "O".
1. Levante a agulha na sua posig_io mais alta girndo o volante em sua
direg_io (sentido antihor5rio) e levante a alavanca do barra do
calcador.
2. Abra a tampa de acesso _l langadeira, atr5s da base removfvel, na
frente da m_quina e retire a caixa da bobina puxando-a pelo fecho
(fig. A)
3. Puxe uns 10 cm de linha de uma bobina cheia e introduza esta
bobina na caixa de bobina (fig. B-l). Passe a linha que ficou para
fora, pela ranhura e, em seguida, puxe-a para baixo e para a
esquerda, sob a mola de tens_io (fig. B-2) at6 que a linha alcance a
abertura oval (fig. B-3).
4. Segurando-a pelo fecho, introduza a caixa da bobina no eixo da
lan_adeira. Solte o fecho para fixar a caixa da bobina. Certifique-se
de que o bico da caixa da bobina se encaixe na ranhura no topo da
lan_adeira.(fig. C).
NOTA:
Sea caixa da bobina n_io for correctamente introduzida na mfiquina,
poderfi soltar-se no inicio da costura.
