Setting Up The System Upgrade - Samsung BD-P1200 User Manual

Youwill see a window that allowsyou to check the
cable or network connectionstatus.
Samsung may offer upgrades to your Btu-ray player's
firmware in the future. To upgrade this firmware you must
1. Go to samsung.com and refer to 'SUPPORT' page to
download the firmware and burn an update CD.
or
2. Connect this player's LAN terminal to the LAN terminal on
your modem (see page 22) and follow the steps below.
Firmware Upgrade
With the unit in Stop mode/No Disc mode, press the
MENU button.
Press the ,_,_' buttons to select Setup,
then press the ENTER or _ button.
Press the ,_,_ buttons to select System Upgrade,
then press the ENTER or _. button.
= If the upgrade is possible : You will see information
on the current and new versions of firmware in a
message box.
If the upgrade is not possible : You will see
the following description in the message box.

Press the ,_,_ buttons to select Update Start, then
press the ENTER or _ button.
If the cable is not connected :
" Ethernet cable is not connected. Please, check
the Ethernet cable"
If the network connection has failed :
"This system can not connected to internet for
update. Please, check the network setup"
If no later version is released (the latest version
has been already installed) :
"The latest version of the firmware is already
installed. There is no need to update."
If the player is not in "No Disc" :
"Please maintain "No Disc" state for network
update."
