Care a nd Maintenance
With proper care, your Set-Top Box will give you many years of service.
Please follow these guidelines to get the maximum performance.
Placement
" Do not put the Set-TopBox near extremelyhot, cold, humid or dusty places.
" Do not put the Set-TopBox near appliances that create magnetic fields.
Liquids
• Do not handle liquids near or on the Set-Top Box.
Cabinet
• Never open the cabinet or touch the parts inside.
• Wipe your Set-Top Box with a clean, dry cloth. Never use water, cleaning fluids, wax,
or chemicals.
• Do not put heavy objects on top of the cabinet.
Temperature
• If your Set-Top Box is suddenly movedfrom a cold to a warm place, unplug the power
cord for at leasttwo hours so that moisturethat may have formed insidethe unit can
dry completely.
