Indicator The indicator light flickers when your STB is receiving a signal from your remote control. - Red; In standby. - Green: Running. - Amber: Initialising.     Connecting the Aerial To view digital TV channels correctly, a signal must be received by the STB from one of the following sources: N An outdoor aerial N An indoor aerial (not recommended) Connect the aerial input cable to the 75Ω coaxial socket on the rear of the STB.

    Inserting the Batteries in the Remote Control You must insert or replace the batteries in the remote control when you: N Purchase the STB N Find that the remote control is no longer operating correctly Remove the cover on the rear of the remote control by pressing the symbol downwards and then pulling firmly to remove it.

    Storing Channels Automatically When the STB is powered on for the first time it will automatically perform a channel scan operation. If the STB is in Standby mode, press the STANDBY ( ) button on the remote control. Result: The UPDATE CHANNEL LIST dialog is displayed. The progress bar shows how much of the scan is complete.
