Blocking Movie Ratings
If you only want your child to watch movies that have a PG rating and lower
(in other words, movies rated PG and G), then you could automatically block
out all other movies with higher ratings.
To block movies:

Highlight the Rat#(_ field and press the up and down arrow buttons to find
the rating that is the lowest rating you don't want the child to watch. (In
the example above, you would highlight tile rating status butlon
corresponding to PG-13, since the highest rating you want the child to
watch is PG.)
Press the right arrow butlon to highlight the rating St_tzts field. Press tile up
and down arrow buttons to change tile buuon ficom l&,w to Block. All
higher ratings autonmtically change to Block.
Press OK to return to tile inenu or exit the screen.
If Parental Controls are not locked, you inust lock them so the movie rating
limits will take etJ[_ct.
Note: Some movies may be given a Not Rated (NR) rating. After blocking movie
ratings, you must set NR to View separately to view NR movies.

Viewing Movie Ratings
Alier you block movie ratings, you have the option of changing some of the
rating status buttons back R) l_c-_w:
1. Highlight the Rat#_/_ field and press tile up and down arrow buuons to find
the rating you want to view.
2. Press the right arrow butlon to highlight tile rating Status field. Press tile up
and down arrows to change tile buuon t_om Block to l&,t_
For example, if movies with a rating of PG-13 and higher are blocked, you can
change tile rating stares corresponding with NC-17. Your child would then be
able to watch all movies with a G, PG, and NC-17 Rating.
3. Press OK to exit tile screen, and be sure parental controls are locked.

V-Chip Unrated Program Block
Selecting this option lets you decide if programs that d_e V-Chip recognizes as
'unrated' can be viewed. Note that 'unrated' TV programs nmy include news,
sports, political, religious, local and weather programs, emergency bulletins,
public announcements, and programs without ratings.
View All unrated programs are available.
Block All unrated programs are not available.
Note: You must remember to lock Parental Controls for rating limits to take effect.
