Use Auto Focus
Temporarily
While
the" camcorder is in manual
focus
you can use
the, auto f\)cus fi, ature t_'mporarily. This h_'lps cry'ate,
a smooth imag_" wh_'n you move" from
one"subi_'ct to
another using manual fi)cus.
1. Push and hold the FOCUS switch in PUSH
A[/['O AIZID appears in the display.
2. Release the switch to return to manual f\)cus.

Cancel Manual Focus
1. Place the" FOCUS switch in AUTO AI_TO
appears in the display.
Notes:
If the lens is smeared or blurred, accurate
focusing isn't possible. Keep the lens
clean, wiping it with a piece of soft cloth
if it gets dirty. If condensation occurs,
wipe the lens with a soft cloth or wait for
it to dry naturally.
When shooting a subject closer than 5 ft.
to the lens, zoom out first. When
zooming in the auto-focus mode, the
camcorder may automatically zoom out
depending on the distance between the
camcorder and the subject.
