Your dishwasher
features
several cycles and options to clean and dry, a variety of loads. The following
information
will help you select the appropriate
cycle and options for each situation.
Cycles
Options
Located around the knob on the right side of the panel.
Located on the pads on the left side of the panel.
Pots & Pans provides
a
longer cycle for items
with heavy food soils.

Normal
Wash is
designed
to wash loads
containing
dishes with
normal
amounls
of food
soils.
Light/China
is designed
for washing lightly
soiled loads or china and
crystal items.
Quick Wash/Rinse
is
designed
for use when
lightly soiled dishes are
needed in a hurry.
Rinse & Hold is for
rinsing dishes being held
until the dishwasher
is
full. This helps reduce
the potential
for odors.

Start allows you to program
the dishwasher
to
operate
at a more convenient
time or during
off.peak
energy rate hours.
Simply turn the cycle selector knob
to the desired number of delay hours and latch the door.

Pots & Pans provides
temperature
checks
in the main
wash and final rinse. If necessary,
the cycle is inter-
rnpted
to heat water to the proper
temperature;
the
HEATING
DELAY
light
is illuminated
during
this
time.
Use the Pots & Pans option to aid in removing
tough food soils.
Sani Heat (8 pad models)
checks the main wash and
final rinse temperature.
If necessary,
the cycle is inter-
rupted
to heat water to the proper temperature;
the
HEATING
DELAY
light is illuminated
during this
time.
This option also provides additional heated dry
time.
When this option is selected
with the Quick
Wash/Rinse
cycle,
additional
heat is automatically
added to the wash and there is NOT additional
dry
time. Use Sani Heat
to aid in the removal
of tough,
more difficult
to remove food soils (such as starches
and fats) and to boost drying results.
Temp
Sense ensures
proper
water temperature
when
using the Pots & Pans, Normal,
or Light/China cycles.
If needed,
the wash or rinse portions
of the cycle are
extended
until a proper
water temperature
is reached.
When the wash or rinse portions
of the cycle are being
extended,
the HEATING
DELAY
light is illuminated.
Use this option if the incoming
water temperature
is
below 120 ° F (49 ° C) due to other househoM
demands
such as showers and laundry.
Heated Dry ON improves
drying results by turning on
the heating element during the dry portion of the cycle.
Heated
Dry OFF turns the heating
element off during
the dry portion
of the cycle. Towel drying of some
items
may necessary
with this selection
and more
moisture may be noticed on the dishwasher
interior.
I
ote: With either dry option, it is normal to notice
vapor coming out of the vent area.
